The island of Kimolos belongs to the Western Cyclades cluster. It is located between Sifnos, Milos and Poliegos. Her name is owed to her first settler, Kimolos, wife of Sid, daughter of Taurus. The island is in the shape of a pentagon, with an area of 36m2 km and a coastline of 38km. It is 87 nautical miles from the port of Piraeus, with which it is connected by conventional and high speed vessels.
